Toffee is a gorgeous 2 years old female who has had a very unstable life so far and is ready for a place to call home. From what we gather, Toffee was bred and then dumped at a busy shelter. She lived with a foster family in Dubai until a move forced them send Toffee to our rescue. Toffee was adopted out a few months back and unfortunately urban life proved to be overwhelming for Toffee.
Toffee has lived successfully with dogs both big and small. In addition to dogs, she has lived with fenced livestock and caged small critters. Toffee has no experience with cats.
Toffee as with most Dobermans loves everyone she meets. She can have a protective bark in the yard but her nub starts wiggling when you say her name. She loves to lounge on the porch or deck with her dog bed and soak in the sun. She is the best cuddler. She has perfected crawling onto your lap on the couch or wherever you are seated for the best snuggles.
Toffee is halti and crate trained, knows basic commands, house trained, and has lived successfully with a toddler in her previous home.
Toffee loves and easily can go for long woodsy hikes and great in the car. She is full of energy, high drive, and happy-go-lucky girl when she is with her people and in her routine.
